Yes! We will provide complimentary water during the 5k route as well as at the finish line. Electric Runners can bring your own water and isotonic drinks and there will be additional water and soft drinks to purchase within the festival village. Please be aware no alcohol or glass bottles are allowed at the event.

Daman’s ActiveLife Electric Run will feature many of the same light elements that could be found at a rave but the focus of an Electric Run is on health and celebration. Think of it as a cross between a big party and a 5k. We believe everyone, no matter their age, should be able to experience lights and music in an environment that is healthy and happy.

Nope. This is not a “5k race”, this is an experience. Enjoy yourself and take in the sights and sounds of the course. If you like one lighting zone or a song that is playing feel free to hang out and dance for a bit.

Please note that you will be charged in US Dollars and a processing fee of 6% is applied for credit or debit card payments. If there have been any additional charges to this amount, please contact your bank as it may be that foreign currency transactions are subject to further charges. These charges are applied by your bank and unfortunately out of our control here at ActiveLife Electric Run. We can guarantee that there are no hidden additional charges from our side.

Each event features a one-of-a-kind light and sound show designed by our talented team of lighting designers and artists and an awesome post event party! In addition to the light show, participants will receive a race pack containing an exclusive Electric Run t-shirt, a bib number and some glow goodies.

To pick up your race pack you will need photo ID and a confirmation email. We understand you may want to collect a race pack for someone else, so we’ve streamlined the system so now to collect a race pack for someone else you just need to bring along their confirmation email (the one with the QR code).

There will be 7 lands each with a different mood. Some will be very upbeat others will be more ethereal.  In between these worlds will be areas of relative silence and no lighting elements. These “dark” areas will give the senses a chance to reset before entering the next courseland. There will be enough light in these “dark” areas to make it safe to run.

Walkers are very welcome! We can’t blame you for wanting to take in the scenery of the various worlds, we just ask that if you choose to walk, stay to the right so runners can pass safely to your left!

As part of your race pack you get a T-shirt, and some glow gear! Come let your light shine and your creative juices flow. Add your own creative spark by dressing up in other-worldly costumes that glow, shine, blink, and dazzle. Show us all what you’ve got!

Unfortunately, we don’t issue refunds or transfers.

If for some reason you can’t make it to race day, at least come to race pack collection and get your Electric Run gear!

Unfortunately, we don’t offer transfers for Electric Run Abu Dhabi.

There aren’t any lockers at the event and if you want to get your boogie on around the course and the party we recommend you leave your bags at home or in the car.

After the 5k course you’ll head to the Festival Village where there will be a sound and light party with a DJ playing. The whole awesome night will finish at 10.30pm.

Yes! In fact, kids 3 and under run for free and don’t need a ticket! You’re welcome to bring your child’s stroller if needed. Please remember that this is also a sound and light party – it will be noisy, loud and very crowded so bear this in mind when deciding whether to bring young children with you. Children over the age of 3 need to register to join in the fun and all children under 12 must be with their parent or guardian at all times.

• Running shoes to get you round the course to the epic finish party, where they turn into your dancing shoes!

• Cash – There will be exclusive Electric Run merchandise and a selection of glow items available to purchase, as well as a number of food and drink vendors.
